I Overcame (A poem)

I wrote this poem after a harsh time in my life, where it felt like I had finally overcome everything and I was met with peace and happiness. I remember one day just realizing that I had overcame the things that I once didn't feel like there was ever going to be an end to.

I think this poem serves as a great reminder to just take it a day at a time, and to never give up! You never know the peace or joy that is just around the corner.
