About The ILY Company

Hi! I’m Emily, the founder of The ILY Company. When I first picked up pen and canvas to turn inner storms into blooms of self-compassion, I realized that filling your mind with flowers was more than a family motto; it was my calling.

 

Faith is the foundation, love is the logo, and positivity is the purpose.

 

This little seed grew into a garden: a space to raise mental-health awareness, share light through creativity, and remind people we’re never walking alone, in the lessons and the blessings! From my home studio, I started creating wearable and giftable reminders of kindness, faith, connection, and growth. 

 

ILY became the bridge between mental wellness and authentic style. ILY is your garden, blooming with intentional expressions rooted in purpose, to share with everyone.

 

I started my first business when I was 12 years old. During that time we had just moved from Colorado to North Carolina and I was in a new environment needing to meet new people right in the middle of Middle School.

 

I opened up a small booth at a local artist co-op in town and I loved being able to create things that made people happy.

After that initial taste of being an entrepreneur, I could't stop. 

 

A few years after I opened my booth, I self-published my book of poetry, Fill Your Mind With Flowers. My YaYa, who is an amazing artist, drew the cover, and I worked with my friend Aria Webb on the illustrations inside. 

 

 

Now we're on to The ILY Company, and I'm excited that this time I'm doing this business with my mom. She and I have been working together to create some amazing gifts, apparel, and accessories to help make the world a more positive place and to help everyone to Fill Their Minds With Flowers.
